Birthdays weren't a completely unheard of concept to Loki. Plenty of cultures in the Nine Realms celebrated birth dates, name days, life days, and so on. A day of worship in the name of someone simply being; Loki liked the idea, but what was he going to celebrate? Abandonment day? Kidnapped and held hostage and lied to for the rest of his life day? He didn't even know if the Jotunn celebrated such things, while the people of Asgard in their sparkling and fertile land celebrated everything and it all blended into one anyway.
There were limits to what he could do for Peter, while still in hiding from the TVA in the Midgard boy's bedchamber, but fortunately he had somehow found himself cared for by the least materialistic being in all the universes. Magic still didn't cease to impress Peter and, that, he could give him a never ending supply of.
Magic and his body. They were the gifts that Loki had at his disposal. Not the first time they had been given, but still fresh and not worn down yet.
It took some thought; considering books and comics, shows they had watched together on Netflix, games they had played, the posters and figures in Peter's room. Loki had it in his power to give Peter his ultimate fantasy, he just wasn't certain what that was.
The magazines hidden in the bottom of his wardrobe made a compelling case, an equal share of swollen breasts and huge, thick lengths that didn't surprise Loki in the slightest. But ultimately, Loki wanted something more specific, something that he'd heard Peter talk animatedly about even when Loki clearly wasn't interested. Something he knew from evidence time and time again that Peter loved.
That was why when Peter came home from school on his birthday he walked in to his room to find Darth Vader wrapped in a bright green bow and breathing heavily on his bed.

Suddenly things felt very real.
He launched himself forward, the blade swinging with more strenght, before the boy kicked the Sith to gain a little more room. Without thinking, he twisted his wrists, forgetting about the lenght of the saber and cutting through the wall as he bumped his bracelets together, activating his webshooters. It took a moment for them to expand, to take its proper form. But soon he was aiming them at the villain, webbing him up.

His heart seemed to rise up to his throat though as Peter swung the blade, suddenly looking a lot less in control. It was okay! It was okay... Loki could fix the wall too...
And then it wasn't the lightsaber hitting his body, but webs. Loki had seen them in action, but he hadn't had them turned on him before. They hit a lot harder than he expected, wrapping around his body until he stumbled back, managed to miss the bed, and landed on the floor. The lightsaber extinguished the moment he dropped it.
"Peter! Peter! Stop!" it was Loki's voice now, not Darth Vader's. "It's me!"

Peter stood there in the middle of this room, still wielding the lightsaber, eyes wide as he stared down at the iconic villain speaking at him in what sounded like a British accent.
The light of the saber was inhaled back into the toy. Peter dropped it, right away kneeling to try and yank the webs off Loki.
"I asked if it was you! I wasn't sure if the TVA had brought the real Darth Vader or if the universes had collapsed or what! You can't scare me like that!"

"Why would the TVA leave a Lord of the Sith in your bedroom?" He asked, completely confused. "I did this for you, as a gift. Did you not see the bow? I intended for you to unwrap your present once you had defeated me."
Which, technically, he had still done. Even if not by lightsaber duel.
"Can you remove the helmet please, Peter?"
At least he could give him the final part of the gift still. He'd put so much work into making sure that he'd got this right. He'd seen Darth Vader unmasked, and he wasn't very appealing. But Anakin Skywalker... Loki had checked and double-checked that he understood the origin story correctly. He had perfected Anakin under the mask. A Light side Anakin for a would-be Jedi like Peter.

Stepping in, he was almost hesitant as he placed his hands on the iconic helmet. His heart was beating faster, soon racing, for even though he now knew for good that this was just one of Loki's games, it still felt super realistic.
Lifting it, his face said it all.
"Ah.... Wow, but..." He had expected the redeemed Anakin, bald and old. Anakin still made sense though. It would be super rude to correct Loki from his mistake, wouldn't it? Because even if Darth Vader looked like Hayden Christensen, good part of his body should be burnt.
This was still the most mind-blowing thing ever.
"You... Even the scar.... you..."
